Assumptions
- Walls are vertical with uniform height.
- Roll coverage defaults from roll dimensions or manual entry.
- Pattern repeat adds waste for matching at each drop.
- Default waste is 10% plus repeat adjustment.
- Does not include border or mural panels sold by piece.

- Gross area = 384 ft². Minus 40 ft² openings = 344 ft² net. With 10% waste = 378 ft². Rolls = 378 ÷ 28 = 13.5 → 14 rolls.
How to measure
Measure each wall length and sum for perimeter, or enter total perimeter. Height is floor to ceiling. Subtract doors and windows as total opening area.
Common mistakes
- Ignoring pattern repeat on large prints (can add 15–25% extra).
- Using bolt coverage from a different roll width (20.5 in vs 27 in).
- Forgetting inside corners consume partial roll widths.
